Eva graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law in 2013 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014. In 2015, Eva joined Lockyer Campbell Posner as an appeals associate.

Her passion for justice and commitment to the rights of accused persons has deep roots. Before joining the criminal defence bar, Eva worked for the United Nations in Jordan and Egypt. She speaks French and Arabic.


As an appeals associate at Lockyer Campbell Posner, Eva represents clients appealing their convictions and sentences, as well as individuals responding to Crown appeals. She appears regularly at the Ontario Court of Appeal, where she has had success overturning unreasonable verdicts, incorrect constitutional rulings, and unfit sentences. Eva also prepares leave applications to the Supreme Court and applications for judicial review.

Prior to joining Lockyer Campbell Posner, Eva summered with Legal Aid Ontario and articled at a boutique criminal law firm in Toronto, where she honed her skills as an appellate advocate. During law school, Eva volunteered in Gladue Court, interned for Human Rights Watch, and wrote a report for the Asper Center for Constitutional Rights on access to rehabilitative programs for provincial detainees.
