Amy joined Lockyer Campbell Posner as an associate in 2018 where she continues to develop a practice devoted to criminal appeals.
Amy completed two articles of clerkship as a judicial law clerk, at the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Superior Court of Justice, Central West Region. Following her articles, she was awarded the Right Honourable Paul Martin Sr. Scholarship from the Canadian Institute for Advanced Legal Studies to pursue a Master of Law at the University of Cambridge. After graduation, she began her career at a leading boutique criminal law firm in Toronto, where she gained experience in both the prosecution and defence of complex criminal, quasi-criminal, regulatory and professional discipline matters. Amy has appeared at all levels of court in Canada.
Amy has taught in the faculty of law at Queen’s University and the University of Windsor and is an active member of the ProBono Inmate Appeal Program, assisting unrepresented appellants argue appeals at the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
